New Green Field School Alaknanda celebrated the National Unity Day, 2022 with great zeal and vigour on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary. The aim of this celebration was not only to commemorate the Iron Man and his contributions towards our country, but also to reaffirm the inherent strength and resilience of our country's citizens.

A plethora of activities were undertaken by classes I-XII as part of the Unity Day's celebration. All the students undertook the pledge, promising to be united and work as one for the welfare of their nation. A talk was also delivered during the school assembly, informing the students of the school about the intention behind the celebrations. The students were also encouraged to play their part in uniting the nation.

Unity Run  being the highlights of the celebration was held by class IX students showing their support towards the cause. The students participated in essay writing and poster making, expressing their ideas through art.

A skit was organised by the Junior School classes commemorating the contributions of Sardar Patel. The skit beautifully portrayed the importance of strength of unity and their dance performance added a spark to the presentation. They were successful in spreading the message of unity and also creating awareness about the National Unity Day.
