Fire Equipments Training
Disaster management is how we deal with the human, material, economic or environmental impacts of said disaster, it is the process of how we "prepare for, respond to and learn from the effects of major failures". Though often caused by nature, disasters can also have human origins.
Fire Equipments Training was conducted on 30th September 22, at New Green Field School, Alaknanda to train students regarding the usage of fire equipments.
A live demo was presented by the trained staff about using different equipments like fire extinguishers -ABC class cylinders, water cylinders, Co2 cylinders, hose pipes and sand bucket. Students were involved in the process.
Important phone numbers were also shared to reinforce the idea of whom to contact in case of fire emergency.
Students participated enthusiastically.
