To inculcate leadership qualities and organisational skills in students, New Green Field School, Alaknanda administered the Investiture Ceremony 2022-2023 for the newly elected Student Council on August 31.

The Head Girl Kanishka Jindal and Head Boy Shourya Aggarwal took a pledge to safeguard the virtues of the school and to create a legacy that inspires others to dream more, learn more, contribute more towards the smooth functioning of the school. They also expressed their gratitude to their teachers and mentors for their respective coveted title. They both along with other council members earnestly promised to perform their duties with utmost diligence, honesty and excellence. The Captains and Vice-Captains of all the four houses looked inspired to earn their new badges which are not merely tokens of recognition but also a reminder of their responsibility and commitment. Certificates of appreciation were awarded to the ex-council by school Principal Mrs. Neera Bhardwaj for their impressive performance.

Former Head Boy and Head Girl in their valedictory speech shared some of their insights into the journey of heading the School Council and urged the new Prefectorial Board to believe in themselves and work with utmost sincerity. A congratulatory note was conveyed to the council members. They were advised to keep their thinking high and stay committed to the positions bestowed upon them.
