Earth day is celebrated on 22nd April every year with immense zeal. This year too the celebration did take place. Despite the ongoing lockdown and confinement to the homes due to the pandemic, the spirits were high as the students of New Green Field school, Alaknanda made drawings of the Earth with Handprints, designed book covers, cards, posters and head bands under the able guidance of their teachers. They also planted saplings in their homes. The ‘Green Crusaders’ worked as a team in gratitude that we owe our existence to our mother Earth.
