On account of Girl Child Day, a workshop was conducted to empower and educate young girls about crucial aspects of their physical and emotional well-being.
The focus was on body awareness education, addressing the complexities of puberty, female anatomy, and reproductive health. Through informative discussions and visual aids, participants gained insights into the normalcy of physical changes, including the growth of hair, breast development, and menstruation.
As part of the workshop, a practical aspect included the distribution of pads to the participants. This hands-on approach aimed to ensure that young girls had access to essential menstrual hygiene products, emphasizing the importance of proper usage and disposal. The distribution of pads contributed to fostering a supportive environment, addressing practical needs, and promoting a sense of preparedness and well-being among the attendees.
