MERAKI – THE ANNUAL SCHOOL EXHIBITION 2023

 ‘Meraki, A Creative Spectacle’, showcased by various clubs of New Green Field School, Alaknanda, was inaugurated amidst the gracious presence of dignitaries by Dr. Jai Kishan, DDE Zone -29.

Ceremonial lamp lighting paved the way for visitors to witness a splendidly innovative world ranging from artefacts, working models, self-explanatory charts, multiple exhibits especially curated by the budding scientists and artists of the school.

The Spectrum Club (English) highlighted Indian authors creating a little world of enactment of  literary characters like Swami and friends. Many fun games based on lexis, grammar range, phonetics, prose, poetry in addition to a small reading section to promote reading habits were creatively designed. On the other hand, the Chayan Club students (Hindi & Sanskrit) displayed ‘Krishna Kavya’ through a powerful depiction of Lord Krishna’s childhood. A variety of models and charts on Sanskrit literature like Shastra, Vastukala and Jyotishastra also lit up the venue making it a hot spot.

The exhibits of Matrix Club (Maths) consisted of a Play Zone, Quiz Boards, the Demonstration of Geometrical Concepts showing different Angles, Shapes with emphasis on the concepts of  Menstruation, Statistics, Trigonometry through models and charts made the subject interesting. The Horizon club  (Science) showcased the scientific solutions for a better future through working models, extensive information about Solar System and Artificial Satellite. Performance of both the clubs left the audience in awe and admiration.

Political Power, Geographic Space, Intricate Models such as monuments, miniatures of the pillars of our constitution, the Earth’s structure, the topographical features of our planet emerged another fascinating space which was created by the Odyssey Club (Social Science) received an incredible footfall.

Different state forms – Madhubani, Worli, Doodle and Rajasthani, the best ever effort of the Aakriti Club were highly appreciated by the distinguished guest and visitors. Reverberating soulful renditions (Music Club) turned out to be the show stealer.  .

Meraki was a wonderful platform for children to enhance their knowledge, creativity, investigative skills and hone their talents. In all, the event was a rip-roaring success winning many accolades.
